New Student Organization? Come to Orientation!

So far, Student Organizations Council (SOC) has chartered 11 new student organizations in the 2016-2017 year and over 12 groups last year! In effort to support new organizations through this journey, the Office of Student Engagement will be offering it’s first New Student Organization Orientation on Friday, April 7th from 4-7pm.

To kick off New Student Organization Orientation, a celebration will be held in Benson 218 from 4-5pm to recognize our new groups! Refreshments will be provided as well as a campus partner networking activity. Advisors and members are welcome to join!

Following the celebration, we invite two members of each organization to join us for orientation training from 5-7pm in Benson 410. During this time we will dive deeper into university and organization policies, recruitment and retention, funding, and more.
