Programs and Events

Deacs & Greeks: Deacs and Greeks is a week-long event that brings together the student organizations on campus to benefit the Second Harvest Foodbank.  The week has 5 days each with its own focus: scholarship & leadership, philanthropy, service, athletics and socialization.

Expectations for Excellence: Utilizing 7 core belief statements, this chapter development program helps chapter leadership identify goals for the year to assist in creating a positive and meaningful experience for their members.

TIPS Training: Training for Intervention ProcedureS. TIPS® is a dynamic, skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental “people skills” of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol. TIPS gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.

Registration for TIPS training is available through the Professional Development Center (PDC) website. Click here to access the registration form as a representative for your organization.

Blue Ribbon Committee:  The Blue Ribbon Committee serves as an advisory group for priorities, policies, and protocols affecting the fraternity and sorority community.  The committee is made up of faculty, staff, students, and advisors.

Greek Alumni Advisory Board: The advisory board aims to serve as a bridge between alumni and the University in order to educate alumni about Greek life today and to positively influence the Greek student experience.

Greek Awards: Each year, our fraternity & sorority community is recognized for their contributions to the Wake Forest University and Winston-Salem communities. Chapters and individual leaders alike are nominated by the Greek community and selected by a bipartisan reviewing committee. The student and chapter award recipients are honored at the annual Greek Awards Ceremony.
