The Wake Forest Committee on Student Life welcomes students to apply for the position of Student Board of Trustee.

The Student Trustee position is open to all rising, full-time junior and senior students (i.e. current sophomores and juniors) at Wake Forest University who are not on academic or social probation. The selection process will take place during the spring semester 2018. The new Student Trustee will be named by the Board of Trustees’ April meeting and will begin their term during summer 2018, at the summer meeting, or at the first meeting of the fall semester 2018.

All Applications for the Student Trustee position must be completed by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14th, 2018.

Nominating a Student

The Committee on Student Life also encourages all members of the University community to nominate students for the 2018 – 19 Student Trustee position.

The committee welcomes faculty, staff and students to identify candidates you believe would make a meaningful addition to the board. When identifying candidates, the Student Life Committee considers many factors including:

  1. a nominee’s experience in and outside of the classroom,
  2. a clear vision of what constitutes the Wake Forest University community, and
  3. a desire to make positive change within the Wake Forest University community.

Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday February 9th, 2018.

All nominees submitted before 5:00 PM on Friday February 9th will be informed of their nomination and asked to consider submitting an application.
